Which Southwest Ohio football players were named to all-district teams?

The Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association has released its All-Southwest District football teams.

Six Cincinnati athletes won a defensive player of the year award, three players won an offensive player of the year award, and three coaches won a coach of the year award.

Here is the full list of honorees for offense and defense in each of the seven divisions. Nominations and selections were based on performance during the regular season.

Division I

Offensive Player of the Year

Jordan Marshall, Moeller: The senior has rushed for 1,369 yards and 15 touchdowns and counting this season. He also set a school record for career rushing yards. Marshall is also the Southwest District's candidate for Ohio Mr. Football.

Co-defensive players of the year

Reggie Powers, Centerville and Paul "P.J." Nelson, Princeton: Nelson led the Vikings with 89 tackles and 12 sacks to go along with five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and an interception.

Co-coaches of the year

Lance Schneider, Miamisburg and Arvie Crouch, Hamilton: Crouch led the Big Blue to an 8-4 record, their best season since 2010. Hamilton also won its first playoff game in school history.

Brodey Berg, Anderson: Berg leads the Eastern Cincinnati Conference with 1,373 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns. He has 10 games this season with multiple rushing touchdowns.

Defensive player of the year

Justin Hill, Winton Woods: The junior led the ECC this season with 13 sacks in 12 games. He also had two forced fumbles and six pass deflections.

Troy Everhart, Troy: He led the Trojans to an 11-2 record and an appearance in the DII regional semifinals.
