South Plains basketball top performers: Monterey's Aaliyah Chavez surpasses 3,000 points

Aaliyah Chavez, Monterey

Chavez surpassed 3,000 career points with 47 in a win over Lubbock High. She hit 12 3-pointers.

Kamille Reynolds, Lubbock High

Reynolds led the team with 21 points in a loss to Monterey.

Jack Griffin, Whitharral

Griffin had 24 points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal in a win over Seagraves.

Addisyn Bollinger, Frenship

Bollinger led the team with 19 points in a win over Odessa Permian.

Nate Sansom, Whitharral

Sansom had 18 points, six rebounds, a steal and a block against Seagraves. He also posted 14 points, five rebounds and a block in a win over Whiteface.

Ella Scolaro, All Saints

Scolaro scored a team-high 20 points in a win over Christ the King.

Darion Duvall, Abernathy

Duvall scored 18 points in a win over Roosevelt.

Ambrosia Cole, Monterey

Cole scored 17 points against Lubbock High.

Micah Zapata, Smyer

Zapata led the team with 14 points in a loss to Floydada.

Caitlin Hull, Christ the King

Hull scored 19 points against All Saints.

Abbi Holder, Frenship

Holder scored 16 points in a win over Midland High.

Lauren Brashear, All Saints

Brashear scored a team-high 14 points in a loss to Abilene Christian.

Brent Robinson, Whitharral

Robinson had 12 points, five rebounds, five steals and an assist against Whiteface. He had 11 points, two rebounds, a steal and an assist against Seagraves.

Channing Carter, Seminole

Carter led the team with 12 points in a win over Fort Stockton.
