South Bend Cubs Twitter piles on Nebraska

The rivalry between Notre Dame and Nebraska is pretty much non-existent these days as the two proud programs have played just three times since 1949.  The two met annually from 1915-1925 but the Cornhuskers were replaced by USC on the schedule regularly by Knute Rockne and Notre Dame and the rest is pretty much history.

That however didn’t keep minor league baseball’s South Bend Cubs from roasting Nebraska and Scott Frost on Twitter on Saturday night.  The Cubs lost their game Saturday to the West Michigan White Caps 3-1.  Whoever runs the social media accounts for the Cubs however put the Cornhuskers and head coach Scott Frost on absolute blast.  See for yourself below.

But their point remains as that was an all-time dumb blunder by Frost and the Huskers.
