Here is a roundup of the high school soccer sectional action from Monday night, featuring mostly boys action and one girls game.

BOYS SOCCER

Class 3A, Sectional 3 quarterfinal at South Bend Riley: LaPorte 3, Michigan City 0

The Slicers shutout the Wolves for the second time in five days, this time to advance to the sectional semifinal against New Prairie Wednesday. LaPorte is 8-8-1 and New Prairie 9-6-1 going into the contest.

Class 3A, Sectional 4 quarterfinal at Goshen: Concord 9, Mishawaka 0

The Minutemen (10-5-2) cruised to a victory over the Cavemen. They will play the host RedHawks in a semifinal contest Wednesday.

Class 2A, Sectional 19 quarterfinal at South Bend Saint Joseph: Bremen 10, John Glenn 1

The Lions (9-6-2) had no issues in defeating the Falcons, advancing to a semifinal game with South Bend Clay Wednesday night.

Class 2A, Sectional 20 quarterfinals at NorthWood: West Noble 2, Wawasee 0; Lakeland 2, Angola 0

The only South Bend Tribune coverage area team in this sectional is the host Panthers. West Noble and Lakeland advance to face each other in a semifinal Wednesday, with NorthWood playing Garrett in the second game that evening.

Class 1A, Sectional 34 quarterfinal at Morgan Township: Morgan Township 8, Westville 0

Westville's season came to an end with a loss to the host Cherokees.

Class 1A, Sectional 35 quarterfinal at Bethany Christian: Lakeland Christian 1, Elkhart Christian 1 (LCA wins in PKs, 3-1)

Despite ECA out-shooting LCA by a 23-4 margin, the Eagles' season came to an end in heartbreaking fashion. LCA will play South Bend Trinity at Greenlawn in a semifinal Wednesday.

GIRLS SOCCER

Class 1A, Sectional 34 quarterfinal at Kouts: Marquette Catholic 2, Westville 1

Layla Clemons and Grace Lindsey scored for the Blazers as they held off a late Westville rally to win. They will play either Morgan Township or Kouts in a semifinal match Wednesday. Morgan Township and Kouts play in a quarterfinal game Tuesday,
