Social media reacts to Shilo Sanders’ electric 80-yard pick six
The early stages of the 2023 Rocky Mountain Showdown have been a very strange, slow-moving game. Neither Colorado nor Colorado State has done much of anything offensively while penalties, reviews and early luck by the Rams have been abundant.
The Buffs, however, produced one of their best plays of the young season courtesy of safety Shilo Sanders. Soon after Colorado State’s offense received a first down via an unnecessary roughness penalty, Sanders jumped a passing route, picked off Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi’s pass and returned it 80 yards for a touchdown.
With one quarter in the books, Colorado and Colorado State are tied at 14.
