Social Media Reacts: Baker Mayfield becomes a part of NFL history in Buccaneers win

Lambeau Field is one of the most historic stadiums in all of sports. Since 1957, it has played host to a number of legends.

But former Oklahoma Sooner Baker Mayfield did something NFL quarterback greats Peyton Manning, Tom Brady or Joe Montana never accomplished. No visiting quarterback had ever recorded a perfect 158.3 passer rating at Lambeau Field.

The only other time a perfect passer rating has been accomplished in Green Bay was by former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. On Sunday, Mayfield looked like a former Heisman winner going 22 of 28 for 381 yards and four touchdowns.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stayed on top of the NFC South division and continue to control their path to a playoff berth with a 34-20 win over the Green Bay Packers. They have three games left to finish their season.

The Bucs are tied with the New Orleans Saints for first place but hold the tiebreaker. The two will face off in two weeks probably for the lead in the division.

Mayfield has put together a solid season and given the Bucs a reason to believe he could be their guy moving forward. He has completed 63.5% of his passes for 3,315 yards, 24 touchdowns and only eight interceptions. He’s on pace to set career highs in both touchdown passes and yards while  leading a team many thought would vie for the first pick in the draft.

Here are some of the best social media reactions from Mayfield’s historic performance.
