Sixers to be without starter Tobias Harris for road matchup vs. Jazz

The Philadelphia 76ers will begin a five-game road trip to the West Coast on Saturday when they take on the Utah Jazz and they will have to begin the trip down a starter.

Just as soon as they get Tyrese Maxey back in the lineup and finally get their regular starting lineup on the floor, they lose another starter due to injury in Tobias Harris.

Harris suffered a knee injury in Thursday’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder and he left the game for a bit in the first half. He did end up returning rather quickly, but he was then listed as questionable for this matchup with the Jazz.

Before the 9 p.m. EST tipoff, the Sixers ruled Harris out.

With Harris out, one has to assume that De’Anthony Melton will get the start in place of the veteran out of Tennessee. The Sixers can then run the three-guard lineup of James Harden, Maxey, and Melton that they like to go to.
