Sixers’ Tobias Harris out vs. Suns, to miss 3rd straight game with ankle

The Philadelphia 76ers will continue to be very short-handed as they begin a 4-game road trip on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns. Joel Embiid, De’Anthony Melton, and Robert Covington are all out against the Suns, but they will be joined on the sidelines by another starter.

Tobias Harris will miss his third consecutive game as he has been ruled out against the Suns due to a right ankle sprain. He suffered the injury toward the end of a March 14 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks and has missed Philadelphia’s wins over the Charlotte Hornets and the Miami Heat. The Sixers were able to find ways to win without him.

Knocking off the Suns will be a tough challenge for this group. Phoenix is led by an elite scoring trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. Without Harris and the others, it will be tough to overcome the Suns.

Tip off from the Footprint Center is set for 10 p.m. EDT.
