Sixers ranked 17th in the league in terms of trade assets to offer

It’s always helpful for an NBA team to have some trade assets in their back pocket in order to make some moves in the future to help their team toward winning a championship.

The Philadelphia 76ers are a team that are never afraid to make any big moves, see James Harden, and as they move forward, team president Daryl Morey will be looking around to make the next big move in order to help the Sixers win a title.

One team that will likely be having some big names on the market is the Brooklyn Nets as they continue to deal with their tumultuous start. Kevin Durant could very well soon be back on the trade market as he discussed his reasoning for asking for a trade, to begin with, before pulling it back and trying against in Brooklyn.

HoopsHype ranked all 30 teams based on the trade assets they have to offer in a deal and the Sixers are ranked 17th on that list:

The Sixers have three core players in Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and James Harden all of whom bring a ton of value to the Sixers on the court and in terms of their trade value. They lack other future promising young talent and only have four of their own first-round picks over the next seven drafts, only one of which they can trade at the moment. If they need to make significant changes, it may have to start with moving one of their top players.

There have been some Durant to Philadelphia rumors popping up again, but the Sixers don’t really have much to offer at the moment. It’s highly unlikely that they will want to give up Tyrese Maxey and, obviously, Joel Embiid is untouchable and they already acquired Harden from the Nets.
