Shaquille O'Neal is probably a much better skateboarder than you

It’s easy to forget Shaquille O’Neal is an elite athlete. A person that big should not move with the grace, speed and power Shaq showed throughout his Hall of Fame career.

Shaq doesn’t get to display those skills all that often these days. He hasn’t played basketball in years, and his goofy personality on TNT makes it hard to remember he destroyed other world-class athletes on a regular basis.

But Shaq still has some skills, and he can prove it. He didn’t even need a court to show off. All he needed was a skateboard.

As one observer in that video stated, “That’s pretty good.”

We have to agree. Shaq showed some impressive balance on the board. While all he did was coast along, it could have been a lot worse. Admit it, when you read “Shaq on the skateboard,” you expected disaster, right?

While impressive, we’re probably not getting a “Shaquille O’Neal’s Pro Skater” video game any time soon. But the reminder that Shaq pulled off seemingly impossible athletic feats on a daily basis is a always fun thing to think about.
