A shakeup at the top of the 2024 basketball recruiting classes for November

The 2023-24 college basketball season is set to begin this month as the calendar has flipped over to November, welcoming in a new campaign after UConn cut down the nets last April.

As the season gets set to begin, there will be old faces in new places with the transfer portal but also the 2023 recruiting class will be on display as well.

But it’s never too early to start looking at the 2024 recruiting class, which will hit the court a year from now.

With the Summer over and recruiting picking up including commitments, the 2024 class rankings have seen a shakeup. There’s a new No. 1 team in the rankings going into November as Duke has taken over the top spot with the commitment of Cooper Flagg.

Duke has surpassed both North Carolina, who held the top spot for months, and Missouri who had a brief stay at the top with five commitments. The Blue Devils class should be sitting pretty in terms of a top 3 finish but will another team challenge them?

Let’s take a look at the full rankings via 247Sports as of November 2.
