Sex, murder, football: Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets visit 'Chicago' musical on Broadway

Aaron Rodgers has a history of talking smack about Chicago on the field, but by all accounts, the quarterback's visit to "Chicago" on Broadway was pure razzle dazzle.

The newly minted Jet and teammates CJ UzomahTim Boyle and Solomon Thomas were all smiles and jazz hands as they posed for photos with the cast of the musical after a recent performance.

Rodgers, entering his first season with the Jets, reportedly just bought a $9.5 million mansion in Montclair, located about 10 miles from MetLife Stadium and 20 from Manhattan. He signed a two-year, $75 million guaranteed contract with the Jets.

"Chicago" currently stars Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie Hart, Kimberly Marable as Velma Kelly, Jennifer Fouche as Matron "Mama" Morton, Evan Harrington as Amos Hart, Ryan Silverman as Billy Flynn and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

With the closing of "The Phantom of the Opera" earlier this year, it is now the longest-running show on Broadway.

"Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, 'Chicago' is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids," producers say.
