Would it make sense for the Boston Celtics to look into signing Jaylen Nowell? A 24-year-old shooting guard, the Washington alum has spent his first four seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Nowell averaged nearly 11 points per game in about 20 minutes of playing time during the past season. While his shooting percentages have fluctuated considerably throughout those four seasons, Nowell’s scoring ability is intriguing if a change of scenery might lead to growth for the Seattle native. With career averages of 9.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, Nowell’s shooting from deep (career 32.2%) is the main thing that has him still a free agent.

The hosts of the “How Bout Them Celtics” took a deep dive on Nowell and several other prospects Boston could add to the team.
