In 1979, a veteran singer named Seger — first name Bob — released an iconic pop single titled "Old Time Rock and Roll."

At this week's Adams Senior Men's Golf Association event, a local linkster named Seger — first name Steve — displayed plenty of pop in his clubs to rock and roll with partner Wendell Price to first place in the Par 3 Scramble feature.

Seger and Price combined to shoot 47 to win the A Flight by a two-stroke margin.
