SEE IT: Here are the Mets' new black uniforms for 2024
A few weeks back, it was discovered that the Mets were making a small update to their black hats for the 2024 season.
The white shadow around the logo would be gone, leaving the Mets’ blue interlocking NY outlined only by orange. And now we know how the rest of the black alternate uniform will look this year.
According to Uni Watch, the same color scheme as the new cap will stay true throughout the jersey. No longer is the white layer going to be seen around the “Mets” script across the front or around the numbers or the player’s name on the back.
Uni Watch also has the mock-ups for the rest of the Mets uniforms this year, but don’t expect anything major like with the black alternates.
