See who made our Varsity 845 high school boys cross country Watch List

Section 9 athletes have been filling cross country leaderboards for years, and this season should be no different.

The Mid-Hudson Athletic League championships will be hosted by the Hudson Valley Sportsdome in Milton on Oct. 26. Due to the flood damage at Bear Mountain State Park, the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association championships (Oct. 28) and Section 9 championships (Nov. 4) will be held at Warwick’s Sanfordville Elementary School, which hosted the state championships in 2006. The 2023 state public school championships will be held Nov. 11 at Vernon-Verona-Sherril High School.

We asked the Section 9 coaches to name up to three of their top runners for a Varsity 845 Watch List.
