See it: Highlights of Notre Dame’s opening round NCAA win vs. Miami (Ohio)
Notre Dame won a thriller over Miami (Ohio) in opening round action of the 2021 NCAA Softball Tournament.
All of the scoring in the contest came in the fourth inning as Miami (Ohio) plated two runs in the top of the inning before the Irish answered with three on one swing of the bat in the bottom half.
The win sets Notre Dame up to take on host Kentucky on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET in Lexington while Miami’s loss means they’ll play Northwestern in a loser-go-home game Saturday.
