See It: Highlights as Notre Dame completes sweep of Virginia Tech
No. 3 Notre Dame closed the regular season portion of their baseball schedule on Saturday afternoon by recording a convincing 7-1 victory over Virginia Tech that gave the Irish a road sweep.
Notre Dame’s pitching continued to be stellar as the Irish allowed just three runs all weekend in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Meanwhile, the bats took some time to get going but came alive once they did, plating all seven runs in the final five innings.
Notre Dame now moves on to the ACC Tournament where they’re the top overall seed and begin pool play next week with Virginia and Virginia Tech who are both in the same pool.
