Here is a look at the top performers from Week 5 high school football games in Greater Lansing. This reflects stats provided to the LSJ by area coaches.
TOP PERFORMERS
▶ ZACH CRIBBS, WILLIAMSTON: Cribbs completed 11 of 14 passes for 311 yards and three touchdowns in the Hornets' CAAC Red win over Fowlerville.
▶ MAX MCCUNE, WILLIAMSTON: Finished with four catches for 166 yards while contributing to a CAAC Red win over Fowlerville.
▶ JOSEPH PIZZO, SEXTON: The senior quarterback completed 15 of 25 passes for 330 yards and four touchdowns in a a 42-7 win over Lakewood.
▶ ETHAN SCHAFER, OLIVET: Schafer had 263 yards rushing and four touchdowns while helping the Eagles top Eaton Rapids for their first victory of the season.
▶ JOSIAH STEWART, SEXTON: Finished with seven catches for 174 yards and a touchdown and returned an interception for a score in the J-Dubbs' CAAC White win over Lakewood.
