K: Alynn Dunning pitched all 7 innings, 4 strikeouts. Both Kesley Davis and EmmaJo Pierce with 2 for 4 at the plate and Isabella Hugi was 3 for 2. Libby Benner had 2 timely RBIs with a solid hit to center field. As well as Jodie Wilkins with an RBI with a double to left center.

A:  Laurel Cius went 5-5 with an RBI and Maddie Robinson went 3-5 with 2 RBI’s. Elise Dressel went 2-5 with an exciting home run over center field and 2 RBI’s. Emma Spink and Jaclyn Torrey each had key triples in the top of the 7th as well. Maddie Robinson and Hailey Mills shared the mound tonight and were a strong force for the defense.

P: Aleena Maynard went 3-3 tonight, along with Taylor Bischoff and Reagan Schneider going 3-5.

WS: Liana DeValder had 9 strikeouts. Bizzie Baglieri went 2 for 2 with two walks and a RBI. Emma Juliano went 1 for 2 with an RBI. Ava West had an RBI walk to tie the game and Baglieri had a RBI walk to take the lead. Sarah Ferruzza had a double and scored a run. Leah Murray had a single, and Hannah Colicchio scored the tying run.

CA: Ariana Buchiere went 2 for 3 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base. Emerson Broomfield, who went 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and a sacrfice fly RBI, pitched a complete game with 8 strikeouts and 1 earned run. Sarah Goodsell went 1 for 4 with a double and run scored. Olivia Kessel hit a double, and Sophia Principio had a single and a stolen base.

Keshequa 4, Pavilion 3, 8 innings

K: Emma Jo Pierce's RBI infield grounder brought home Libby Benner for the win in the 8th inning. Pitcher Alynn Dunning had 7 strikeouts on her second varsity start. Skylar Rease had a double.

P: A. Rowe doubled in the sixth inning to tie the game, 3-3. Pitcher Courtney Gubrecki had 5 strikeouts.

Attica 17, Oakfield-Alabama 2

A: Starting pitcher Maddie Robinson had 3 strikeouts and also hit a double and drove in 2 runs. Morgan Bunk had a triple. Laurel Cius had a single with 2 RBIs and Jaclyn Torrey had another double with an RBI. The Blue Devils scored 5 runs in the bottom of the first.

OA: Sayde Bush hit a double, scoring Piper Hyde in the first. Raine Denny and Jessica Sosnowski both singled.

Penn Yan 17, Geneva 0

PY: Starting pitcher Giana Ficcaglia picked up the win with 12 strikeouts. Giana Ficcaglia hit a grand slam in the first inning, while Julia Maldonado and Morgan Breuer both doubled in the second inning.

Cal-Mum 1, Keshequa 0, 8 innings

CM: Kaelyn Jake (2 for 3) led off the top of the eighth with a single to center and advanced to second on a bunt by Mia Wilson. Colleen Talty (2 for 4) had a two-out go-ahead double to score Jake. In the bottom of the eighth, Keshequa had the tying run on third, but 3B Madison Wyskiel made a catch to her left to end the game. Emma Years pitched her second shutout of the season, going 8 innings and giving up seven hits while striking out 5. Izzy Cochran had a catch in left field in the third inning and then threw out the runner trying to score from third.

Haverling 15, Livonia 0

H: Sophomore Gabby Shroyer's walk-off HR ended the game in the bottom of the 6th. The Rams had 15 hits coming from eight different players, including Makayla Smith (2 for 2, double, 2 RBIs), Kaili Witherell (2 for 4, double, RBI), Kasandra Plewa (1 for 2), Caydence Spears (3 for 3, 3 RBIs), Ryleigh Laverty (3 for 4, double, 4 RBIs), Maddie Coots (1 for 3, double, 2 RBIs) and Lane Prescott (1 for 3). Witherell threw a no-hit shut out with 14 strikeouts, notching her 700th career strikeout.

Sodus 22, Clyde-Savannah 4

S: Sodus jumped out to a 12-run lead in the top of the first inning and then scored five runs on two hits in the top of the second. Hall earned the win for Sodus. Izzy, Lia Buckwald, and Bennett each collected two hits. Buckwald and Thiel each drove in three runs.

CS: Taylor Record and Alexis Tohafjian each collected two hits. Tohafjian went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.

Oakfield-Alabama 9, Barker 5

OA: Freshman Emma Moeller went the distance in her first varsity start, striking out six and allowing five hits in giving up just two earned runs. Piper Hyde went 4 for 4 with a triple, an RBI, and three runs scored. Caitlin Ryan went 3 for 4 with a triple and three runs scored. Sayde Bush went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs, and Rylee Denny had 2 RBIs.

North Rose Wolcott 19, East Rochester 10

NRW: AJ McIntyre struck out 10 in 6 innings. Peytin Westurn had 3 hits, including a triple and 3 RBIs, while Zoey Yates, Olivia DeBoerdere and McIntyre all had three hits.

ER: Alex Labounty had two hits and Jayde Kurrash hit a triple.

H: In their first matchup of the 2024 Mudville Tournament, Kaili Witherell threw a complete game, allowing seven hits and striking out 12. At the plate, Witherell went 2 for 2 with a triple and two runs scored. Caydence Spears went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs and a double, while Kas Plewa went 2 for 3.

Haverling 10, Stillwater 0

H: In the second game, the Rams won in 5 innings to win their bracket. Kaili Witherell again pitched the complete game shutout, allowing 3 hits and striking out 13. Gabby Shroyer went 2 for 2 with a bases-clearing double in the second inning and four RBIs for the game, while Caydence Spears hit her first home run of the season and had 3 RBIs. Makayla Smith hit two doubles and had an RBI, and Witherell went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.
