Seahawks not on Odell Beckham Jr.’s list of teams he’s ‘honing in on’ for final decision

Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly wants to join a playoff contender that has an offensive-minded head coach and a creative veteran QB with a proven track record.

With only one out of those three, that means the Seahawks are probably out of the running.

According to a report by Dianna Russini at ESPN, Seattle is not on the list of teams Beckham is honing in on for his final decision. The Saints, Chiefs and Packers are.

It’s natural to feel a bit of a sting there, but the reality is that all three of those teams have much more offensive-minded coaches on their staff than the Seahawks and they also have a far better chance of making a deep postseason run.

Nevertheless, there’s been a ton of reported interest on Seattle’s side, including lobbying from Russell Wilson for the team to sign Beckham. We’ll see what happens.
