GIRLS SOCCER

Division I

South Kingstown 5, Moses Brown 1

Addison Strom scored 2 goals and teammates Abby McDonald, Bella DiGioia and Finley Carr each found the back of the net once as South Kingstown knocked off Moses Brown. Netminders Abbie O'Rourke and Jazsmin Black combined to make 13 saves in the win. Ella Reid had the lone tally for the Quakers.

Chariho 7, Smithfield 2

Ryann Denecour wasted little time, netting the first of her 3 goals just 6 minutes into the game. Ella Dachowski scored 3 minutes later (she scored 2 on the night) and the Chargers were off and running. Chariho also got goals from Emily Brown and Aubrey Currier. For the Sentinels, Krista Kasbarian and Trina Cost each scored goals and Talia Cost and Maddie Boss added assists. On defense, Grace Downey and Aubrey Currier helped limit Smithfield's attack. In net, Smithfield's Reese Rossi had 11 saves; Reid DosSantos made 8.

FOOTBALL

West Warwick 13, Pilgrim 12

Karl Swanson accounted for both Wizards scores, a 20-yard reception in the third quarter and a 30-yard TD reception with a minute left to play, as West Warwick edged their neighbors in this Division III contest.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Division I

Chariho 3, Cranston East 0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-17)

For the Chargers, Jules White had 12 kills, Emma Kocab had 8 digs, 3 assists and 1 ace, and Lexi Cole had 2 aces,  2 kills, 8 digs and 27 assists to keep Chariho's record unblemished. For the Thunderbolts, Jayla Ou had 12 digs and Ashley Taveras 8 digs in the loss.

Mount St. Charles 3, Classical 2 (25-22, 22-25, 17-25, 27-25, 16-14)

For the Mounties, Mazie Phillips had 13 kills, 2 aces and 14 digs, Maya Solecki had 11 kills, 4 aces and 7 digs and Emma Roberts had 2 aces, 5 kills and 2 blocks. For the Purple, Harmony Forrest had 18 kills, Taliyah Pereira had 13 kills, and Deana Baez had 30 assists and 2 aces in the loss.

Division II

North Smithfield 3, Ponaganset 0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-21). JV - P, 2-1.

The play of Jasmine Baccouche (6 aces) and Abby Roden (12 digs) helped the Northmen roll to victory over the Chieftains. Leading the way for Ponaganset was Kait Campbell with 5 kills and 2 aces and Alanya Gardner with 2 kills and 2 blocks.

Mt. Hope 3, Middletown 1 (19-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-12)

For the Huskies, Sarah Wilcox had 14 digs, 6 kills and 4 aces, Mia Shaw had 21 assists, 13 digs, Gianna Lunney had 6 kills and 6 aces, and Grace Gerhard had 6 kills with a pair of aces. For the Islanders, Gwen Delaney had 4 kills and 4 aces, Maighan Parsley had 5 aces and 5 digs and Aidan Reilly had 3 kills and 4 aces in the Division II loss.

Division III

Burrillville 3, Woonsocket 0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-12) JV - B, 2-0.

Kenzie Cleary recorded 12 kills, Kendra Pimentel added 9 aces and 5 digs and Emelia Ferraro contributed 5 kills and 3 aces in leading the Broncos to the win. Julia Raymond had 11 assists and 11 digs and Azalea Mueller had 3 kills for the Villa Novans in the loss.

Narragansett 3, Tiverton 0 (25-20,  25-19,  25-10)

The Mariners' Claire O’Berheu had 4 aces, 3 kills and 6 digs, and Sophia Bianco had 5 aces and 3 assists in the Division III contest. For the Tigers, Addie Torio had 5 aces, 8 kills and 15 digs and Julia Polofsky had 6 aces, 7 kills and 6 digs.

Tolman 3, Toll Gate 0

Jade Ortega had 5 kills and 5 aces, Sellymar Garcia added 4 kills, 6 aces and 4 digs, and Trinity Burk had 3 kills, 2 digs and 2 blocks.

Scituate 3, Central 1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-12)

Division IV

Providence Country Day 3, North Providence 2

Lana Koolian's 12 aces and Abby McRoy's 5 kills were instrumental and PCD's win over the Cougars. For NP, Captain Andrea Vasquez led the way for NP with 8 aces and 7 kills and Alivia Toe and Jude Landero had 8 aces and 20 kills respectively, in the loss.
