Scores, schedules live updates from Mohawk Valley football for Oct. 12-14

West Canada Valley and Sauquoit Valley kick off the second-to-last weekend of high school football in the Mohawk Valley on Thursday with a game that will set the pecking order for their league's second home game when postseason play starts in two weeks.

The forecast looks drier than last weekend as teams start their final charge toward Section III's playoffs. Chances of rain sit below 10 percent through the weekend for greater Utica after teams played under threatening skies last Friday and got soaked on Saturday.

The rain that teams like Dolgeville and Westmoreland/Oriskany played through last week has moved out of the area for the seond-to-last regular season weekend of New York's 2023 high school football schedule.
