Scioto Valley Conference releases all-conference baseball teams, postseason awards
CHILLICOTHE − The Scioto Valley Conference released its all-conference baseball teams and list of postseason awards on Wednesday morning.
Huntington's DJ Crocker was named the SVC Player of the Year. The senior posted a .500 batting average, had 25 RBIs, 23 runs, six doubles and two home runs and helped the Huntsmen to tie for second place in the conference.
Huntington coach Chad Carroll and Zane Trace Ron Allen were also both named Co-Coaches of the Year. Allen led the Pioneers to an outright SVC championship with a 12-2 conference record, and Carroll led the Huntsmen to an 11-3 conference record.
