Saturday sting: Yulee's Hornets force fumbles, beat Tradition Prep in weekend football

PORT ST. LUCIE -- Two early defensive touchdowns and contributions from several players on offense helped Yulee turn a long road trip into a winning visit to Port St. Lucie as the Hornets pulled away early in a 43-6 high school football win over Tradition Prep Saturday.

The Pirates, winners of three straight games for the first time in program history, made two early stands in the red zone on defense that included an interception in the end zone by sophomore Jeremiah Michel but Yulee’s defense two plays after the takeaway got an even bigger defensive play.
