Nashville area's basketball top performers for Week 1: Tyler Tanner's 44 leads BA over Hillsboro Saturday
The Tennessee high school basketball season has started with much of the state's programs having started play Tuesday night.
Here's a look at the Week 1's top performers from the Nashville area.

Boys basketball
Odell Bradley, Beech: Bradley led the Bucs with 17 points in a 68-29 win over Lincoln County. He finished with another 17 points in a 68-63 win over Chattanooga Christian.
Champ Nix, Beech: Nix had 14 points in both wins against Lincoln County and Chattanooga Christian.
Cutter Sisk, Beech: Sisk had 21 points in the win over Chattanooga Christian.
Tyler Tanner, Brentwood Academy: Tanner's 44 points led the Eagles to a 69-63 win over Hillsboro.
Tahj Davie, Clarksville Academy: Davie had 22 points in the Cougars' 70-66 win over CPA.
Cam Phillips, Clarksville Academy: Phillips finished with 14 points.
Trae Rideau, Clarksville Academy: Rideau added 21 points.
Jett Montgomery, Independence: Montgomery had 17 points to lead the Eagles in a 67-51 loss to Bartlett.
Trace Collier, Liberty Creek: Collier had a pair of 3-pointers and 20 points in 61-43 win over Gordonsville.
Cam Blivens, Lipscomb Academy: Blivens drops 31 points with seven rebounds in a 62-52 win over Hendersonville.
Daniel Bilbrey, Livingston Academy: Bilbrey had four 3-pointers, 16 points, six rebounds with five steals in a 73-37 win over Smith County.
Brodey Coffee, Livingston Academy: Coffee had seven points and 10 rebounds with four assists.
Cole Harris, Livingston Academy: Harris had 19 points and six rebounds in an 84-39 win over Sunbright.
Tucker Miller, Livingston Academy: Miller added 14 points in Livingston's victory over Smith County.
Andrew Cucullu, Page: Cucullu had 17 points as Page knocked off Wilson Central, 58-53.
Pablo Hernandez, Page: Hernandez chipped in with 16 points.
Hunter Moss, Page: Moss had 10 points for the Patriots in a 55-22 win over Watertown.
Jacob Edwards, Rossview: Edwards had 16 points in the Hawks' 70-59 win over Ensworth.
Ji’yair Rose, Rossview: Rose also finished tied for a team-high 18 points.

Girls basketball
Allye Pennington, East Robertson: Pennington led ERHS with 37 points and seven steals as it beat Gordonsville, 66-54. She then finished with 28 points and three assists in a 63-41 win over Liberty Creek.
Katie Pennington, East Robertson: Katie Pennington added 15 points, seven rebounds and five steals against Gordonsville and added 13 points and four boards against Liberty Creek.
Mary Elizabeth Fox, Page: Fox had 16 points in a 50-29 win against Nashville Christian.
Lily Espelet, Page: Espelet had 13 points in Page's 59-35 win over Central Magnet.
Mia Hauptman, Page: Hauptman added 13 points against NCS.

Brayden Buck, Independence: Buck had 12 points, including four 3-pointers in a 66-64 loss to Cordova.
Jett Montgomery, Independence: Montgomery finished with a game-high 27 points with five 3-pointers.
Cam Blivens, Lipscomb Academy: Blevins had 30 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the Mustangs' 71-59 win over Ezell-Harding.
Myles Sidney, Lipscomb Academy: Sidney finished with 22 points and three rebounds.
Nash Stark, Lipscomb Academy: Stark pulled down 10 rebounds.
