Nashville area's basketball top performers for Week 1: Tyler Tanner's 44 leads BA over Hillsboro Saturday

The Tennessee high school basketball season has started with much of the state's programs having started play Tuesday night.

Here's a look at the Week 1's top performers from the Nashville area.

Saturday

Boys basketball

Odell Bradley, Beech: Bradley led the Bucs with 17 points in a 68-29 win over Lincoln County. He finished with another 17 points in a 68-63 win over Chattanooga Christian.

Champ Nix, Beech: Nix had 14 points in both wins against Lincoln County and Chattanooga Christian.

Cutter Sisk, Beech: Sisk had 21 points in the win over Chattanooga Christian.

Tyler Tanner, Brentwood Academy: Tanner's 44 points led the Eagles to a 69-63 win over Hillsboro.

Tahj Davie, Clarksville Academy: Davie had 22 points in the Cougars' 70-66 win over CPA.

Cam Phillips, Clarksville Academy: Phillips finished with 14 points.

Trae Rideau, Clarksville Academy: Rideau added 21 points.

Jett Montgomery, Independence: Montgomery had 17 points to lead the Eagles in a 67-51 loss to Bartlett.

Trace Collier, Liberty Creek: Collier had a pair of 3-pointers and 20 points in 61-43 win over Gordonsville.

Cam Blivens, Lipscomb Academy: Blivens drops 31 points with seven rebounds in a 62-52 win over Hendersonville.

Daniel Bilbrey, Livingston Academy: Bilbrey had four 3-pointers, 16 points, six rebounds with five steals in a 73-37 win over Smith County.

Brodey Coffee, Livingston Academy: Coffee had seven points and 10 rebounds with four assists.

Cole Harris, Livingston Academy: Harris had 19 points and six rebounds in an 84-39 win over Sunbright.

Tucker Miller, Livingston Academy: Miller added 14 points in Livingston's victory over Smith County.

Andrew Cucullu, Page: Cucullu had 17 points as Page knocked off Wilson Central, 58-53.

Pablo Hernandez, Page: Hernandez chipped in with 16 points.

Hunter Moss, Page: Moss had 10 points for the Patriots in a 55-22 win over Watertown.

Jacob Edwards, Rossview: Edwards had 16 points in the Hawks' 70-59 win over Ensworth.

Ji’yair Rose, Rossview: Rose also finished tied for a team-high 18 points.

Cam Ward, Rossview: Ward also had 18 points

Girls basketball

Allye Pennington, East Robertson: Pennington led ERHS with 37 points and seven steals as it beat Gordonsville, 66-54. She then finished with 28 points and three assists in a 63-41 win over Liberty Creek.

Katie Pennington, East Robertson: Katie Pennington added 15 points, seven rebounds and five steals against Gordonsville and added 13 points and four boards against Liberty Creek.

Mary Elizabeth Fox, Page: Fox had 16 points in a 50-29 win against Nashville Christian.

Lily Espelet, Page: Espelet had 13 points in Page's 59-35 win over Central Magnet.

Mia Hauptman, Page: Hauptman added 13 points against NCS.

Friday

Boys basketball

Brayden Buck, Independence: Buck had 12 points, including four 3-pointers in a 66-64 loss to Cordova.

Jett Montgomery, Independence: Montgomery finished with a game-high 27 points with five 3-pointers.

Cam Blivens, Lipscomb Academy: Blevins had 30 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the Mustangs' 71-59 win over Ezell-Harding.

Myles Sidney, Lipscomb Academy: Sidney finished with 22 points and three rebounds.

Nash Stark, Lipscomb Academy: Stark pulled down 10 rebounds.

Tra'Mycal Lewis, Nashville Christian: Lewis had 23 points to pace Overton in a 70-56 win over Nashville Christian.

Brandon Smith, Nashville Christian: Smith was one rebound away from a triple-double with 13 points, 13 assists and nine boards.

Fred Bailey, Pope John Paul II: Bailey had 22 points in an 88-40 win over Lawson.

Kamden Days, Pope John Paul II: Days scored 12 points.

Trey Pearson, Pope John Paul II: Pearson had 11 points.

Antonio Wilkerson, Pope John Paul II: Wilkerson scored 10 points.

Joe Birdwell, Red Boiling Springs: Birdwell had 11 points in a 77-58 loss to White House.

Colton Copas, Red Boiling Springs: Copas had 22 points.

Macon Adkison, Santa Fe: Adkison had 25 points to lead Santa Fe past East Hickman, 80-50.

Auden Slaughter, Santa Fe: Slaughter finished with 24 points.

Dawson Carson, White House: Carson scored 14 points in a win over Red Boiling Springs.

Ryan Worrell, White House: Worrell had 22 points.

Abbilyn Teter, Cannon County: Teter had 23 points, seven steals and five rebounds in a 53-52 win over Clay County.

Tionna Davis, Columbia: Davis scored 12 points in a 58-27 win over Whites Creek.

Saviya Morgan, Columbia: Morgan had 16 points and 11 steals.

Anaya Mulholland, Columbia: Mulholland scored 16 points.

Anna Haskins, Community: Haskins led all scorers with 30 points in a 61-54 loss to Harpeth.

Audrey Coulter, DCA: Coulter had 17 points in a 61-26 win over St. Cecilia.

Mia Johnson, DCA: Johnson had 20 points and six rebounds.

Kendra Matheson, DCA: Matheson had 11 points, eight steals and four assists.

Taylor Holt, East Hickman: Holt had 21 points in a 69-26 win over Santa Fe.

Ava Cathey, Harpeth: Cathey had 18 point to lead Harpeth in the win over Community.

Alley Thurman, Harpeth: Thurman finished with 13 points.

Kennedy Hudson, Hume-Fogg: Hudson had 20 points and 19 rebounds in a 41-37 win over USN.

Carolina Nunez, Hume-Fogg: Nunez had 13 points.

Ava Zenner, FRA: Zenner led the Lady Panthers with 11.

Ava Krumwiede, Harpeth Hall: Krumwiede had 25 points and five rebounds as Harpeth Hall rolled to a 65-52 win over Summit.

Taylor McCall, Harpeth Hall: McCall added 12 points, 15 rebounds and three steals.

Charlotte Myers, Harpeth Hall: Myers finished with 20 points, four assists, three steals and four rebounds.

Nathan Dillingham, Fairview: Dillingham led Fairview with 24 points in a 62-55 loss to Santa Fe.

Mays McCoy, Fairview: McCoy chipped in with 21 points.

Teondre Love, Fayetteville: Love had 10 points, knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and had four assists as Fayetteville dropped Community, 49-43.

Samuel Willoughby, Fayetteville: Willoughby had nine points and 10 boards with three assists.

Suzanna Crews, Cascade: Crews' double-double (10 points and 12 rebounds) guided Cascade in a 39-25 win over Huntland.

Sophie Ray, Cascade: Ray finished with 10 points and eight rebounds.

Addison Gorday, Centennial: Gorday had 20 points in a 58-46 win over Mt. Pleasant.

Taylor McCall, Harpeth Hall: McCall led Harpeth Hall with 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Emery Smith, Harpeth Hall: Smith finished with 11 points.

Ava Cathey, Harpeth: Cathey finished with 11 points as Harpeth rolled past White House-Heritage, 44-35.

Zakariah Webster, Hunters Lane: Webster led Hunters Lane with 14 points in a 65-24 loss to Stratford.

Torri James, Rossview: James, a Western Kentucky signee, led Rossview with 20 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

Jai Jordan, Rossview: Jordan added 11 points, four rebounds and four steals.

Ailani Davis, Rossview: Davis had 10 poiunts, five assists and five steals in the Lady Hawks' 65-42 win over Franklin.

Chaslyn Stewart, Santa Fe: Stewart led the way with 19 points in the win over Fairview.

Paige Blackburn, Shelbyville: Blackburn had 18 points to lead Shelbyville past Nolensville.

Amelia Richardson, Westmoreland: Richardson had 16 points and four rebounds in the loss to Beech.

Maney Hyde, White House: Hyde had 14 points to led White House.

Reese Beaty, York Institute: The junior had 15 points and 12 rebounds as York lost to Gatlinburg-Pittman, 64-63 in overtime.

Emma Cooper, York Institute: The sophomore had 23 points and seven rebounds.

Raylee Werner, York Institute: Werner added 15 points.
