Former University of Wisconsin star Sam Dekker, who just began his second year playing with the London Lions of the British Basketball League, apparently found a charming reminder of his old home in his new one.

That's a basketball jersey of Ozaukee High School, which happened to share a conference with Dekker's Sheboygan Lutheran squad in 2012 when Dekker led his squad to the Central Lakeshore championship and WIAA Division 5 state championship. Today, both schools are in the Big East South, separated by 25 miles. Ozaukee High School is located in Fredonia.

"How the hell did I find this in London," Dekker wrote, with the hashtags #CLC and #Ozaukee.

Ozaukee also happens to be the high school that baseball stars Owen and Noah Miller called home; Owen played for the Milwaukee Brewers for most of the 2023 season and has now been a part of a Central Division championship in consecutive years, with the Cleveland Guardians winning the American League Central last year. His younger brother, Noah, is a highly regarded prospect in the Twins system.

Dekker, who has been an active observer of Wisconsin-based sports teams during his tenure overseas and provides an entertaining follow on social media, showed he still has plenty of game last year when he led the Lions to the BBL title (both regular season and postseason) and won the league's Player of the Year honor.
