Saints fans, teammates, and media analysts can’t get enough of Bryan Bresee’s spin move

New Orleans Saints rookie defensive tackle Bryan Bresee has been steadily developing throughout training camp and the preseason. He’s impressed early on and showed why he was deserving of a first-round pick. Against the Texans, Bresee made everyone take notice of what could be his signature move.

Bresee used his spin move to get into the backfield on two plays that resulted in sacks. Bresee didn’t receive credit for either takedown, but it looked like he could have received half a sack on either play. Credit or no credit, blocking a Bryan Bresee spin move only one time is a challenge many would fail.

The spin move isn’t new to the NFL, but it isn’t exactly something you see from many defensive tackles — especially rookies like Bresee. The technique was popularized by legendary pass rusher Dwight Freeney, and many edge rushers have tried to learn from him over the years. But Bresee outweighs Freeney by nearly 40 pounds and lines up head-over-guard, not out on the edge.

And people can’t get enough of it. Saints fans, Bresee’s veteran teammates, and media analysts who have seen it all are raving about his spin move on social media. See for yourself:
