Rusty Feth ignites Iowa Twitter with first image in Hawkeyes uniform
Rusty Feth is here and that means help is on the way.
The 6-foot-5, 305 pound offensive lineman transferred in from Miami (Ohio) as a graduate transfer. There, Feth started 34 career games, including 25 straight at center over each of the past two seasons with the RedHawks. The Colerain, Ohio, native also made nine starts at guard during his Miami (Ohio) career.
That means positional versatility for the Hawkeyes. The expectation is that Feth will slide in at one of the guard spots. To begin the spring, Iowa listed Connor Colby as its starting left guard and Beau Stephens as its starting right guard.
247Sports’ Brad Crawford touched on the excitement that sources have for Iowa’s offensive line improvement. Some of that is rooted in the belief that Logan Jones will improve at center.
But, it’s also rooted in the belief that Saginaw Valley State transfer offensive tackle Daijon Parker and Feth will immediately upgrade Iowa’s situation.
After sharing one picture on social media, it’s safe to say that Feth has Hawkeye fans convinced that the days of a 124th-ranked rushing offense are long gone.

If the whole football thing doesn’t work out with the Hawkeyes, maybe Feth can just audition for a role in the live action God of War series coming to Amazon.
Complete with the beard, Feth really does look like and embody almost the perfect image of a Hawkeye offensive lineman. Desperate for marked improvement up front, Iowa fans weren’t letting the moment pass them by to celebrate the arrival of Feth.
Here’s the best reactions from Hawkeye fans to Feth’s arrival.
