Roundup: Newark Generals hockey rallies past Westerville
Woody Struthers’ second goal with 3:48 left in the third period Thursday lifted the Newark Generals to a 6-5 victory against the visiting Westerville Warcats in Ohio Scholastic Hockey League play.
The Generals trailed 3-0 after one period and scored twice in the final 6:46.
Troy Johnston, Daniel Layne, Colin Jones and Gavin Kessler also scored, and Blake Sauberzweig added two assists and Kessler one. Matt Johnson made nine saves in relief.

Watkins wins in OT
Jude Wise piled up 21 of his 26 points in the first half for Watkins Memorial in a 71-66 overtime victory at KIPP Columbus.
Cole Massie added 12 points, including a 3-pointer in overtime, Lamar Glenn 11 and Ray Hardiman scored 8 for the Warriors (1-1).
GCA stays hot
Granville Christian used a 20-11 edge in the second quarter to take control of a 57-46 victory against Danville.
Andrew Benvie racked up 25 points to lead the Lions (3-0). Bentley Johnson added 13 points and Thad Hartshorn 12.
