Rockledge boys basketball player Ryan Blount named all-state
Source Hoops named Rockledge High basketball player Ryan Blount to its Class 5A all-state first team for the 2023-24 season.
Blount, the FLORIDA TODAY Boys Basketball Player of the Year, averaged 27.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, while he connected on 40.7 percent of his 3-point shots. He scored in double figures in every game of the 23-8 Raiders season, with his 41-point high coming against rival Cocoa.
Rounding out the first team were Marcus Allen of Miami Norland, Josh Lewis of Tampa Blake, Ian Smikle of Riviera Beach Suncoast and Narayan Thomas of Mainland.

Blount was also named to the All-Cape Coast Conference team, the FACA All-District 12 team and the All-Cape Coast Conference Basketball North Tournament Boys team selected by 321preps.com.
