Report: Warriors sign veteran guard Cory Joseph to one-year deal
Outside of inking Draymond Green to a new $100 million deal, the Golden State Warriors have been quiet throughout the first few days of the NBA’s free agency period. However, Mike Dunleavy Jr. and the Warriors reportedly got involved in the spending on Sunday afternoon.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, veteran point guard Cory Joseph has agreed to a one-year deal with the Warriors.

Joseph spent the last two and a half seasons of his 12-year career with the Detroit Pistons. The 31-year-old guard averaged 6.9 points on 38.9% shooting from the field with 3.5 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game with the Pistons last season.
During his 12-year career, Joseph has played for the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings and Pistons. Joseph was a first-round pick out of Texas for the Spurs in 2011.
With Ty Jerome and Donte DiVincenzo landing with new teams at the start of free agency, Joseph will give the Warriors another ballhandler behind Steph Curry and newly acquired Chris Paul.
