Report: If traded, DeAndre Hopkins’ contract would be adjusted

The Buffalo Bills interest in DeAndre Hopkins is unclear.

Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane tossed some water on that smoke, downplaying the chance of it happening.

However, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said if the Arizona Cardinals do trade the All-Pro receiver, he’s expected to adjust his contract for his new team.

While not a sign the Bills are interested, that would need to happen in order for Buffalo to land him… or really, for anyone. Hopkins is slated to have a $30.7 million cap hit in 2023. One that’s fair too high for nearly any team.
