Report: Raptors to sign Jeremy Lin once Hawks buyout is complete
The Toronto Raptors’ roster makeover continued on Monday as the team is reportedly preparing to sign guard Jeremy Lin once his buyout with the Atlanta Hawks is complete.
Jeremy Lin is finalizing a buyout with Atlanta, clearing the way for him to sign with Toronto, agents Jim Tanner and Roger Montgomery tell ESPN.

Lin will fill the void left by Delon Wright in the trade for established big Marc Gasol. He can provide an offensive lift off the bench through either running offensive sets or shooting the three.
Though his success rate from range has dipped of late, Lin remains a viable threat from beyond the arc as a career 34.8 percent shooter.
Lin was averaging nearly 11 points and 3.5 assists with Atlanta. He was traded to the Hawks from the Brooklyn Nets last summer.
