Report: Patriots met with playmaking LSU wide receiver
The New England Patriots were reportedly one of several teams that met with LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers, per NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe.
Nabers’ accomplished career at LSU included a stellar 2023 season with 89 catches for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns. He proved to be a big-play threat, averaging 17.6 yards per reception.
He finished his LSU career with 189 catches for 3,003 yards and 21 touchdowns. He could offer the dynamic, big-play ability that the Patriots have needed at the receiver position.
Nabers is a projected first-round, top-10 selection. He could be available for New England, if they choose to trade down from the No. 3 draft spot.
LSU star WR Malik Nabers had dinner with Giants last night + met with Patriots, Titans, Jets & Jaguars yesterday ahead of today’s Pro Day, per sources. He will meet with Cardinals post-workout today.

New England needs an upgrade at the wide receiver position, and the LSU star would certainly fit the bill.
