Report: ‘Do not be surprised’ if Bulls trade Andre Drummond

The Chicago Bulls are riding a two-game losing streak after two-straight embarrassing losses to the Indiana Pacers and the Charlotte Hornets.

Chicago currently sits as the No. 11 seed in the East, outside of the play-in tournament.

With the Feb. 9 trade deadline rapidly approaching, the Bulls find themselves in numerous trade rumors across the league.

From Marc Stein on Thursday night, the Bulls could be moving on from one of their big men ahead of the trade deadline.

Do not be surprised, league sources say, if the Bulls move former All-Star center Andre Drummond before the Feb. 9 trade. Drummond has been allotted fewer than 15 minutes in each of Chicago’s past 12 games.

Drummond, as Stein noted in his Substack, has played less than 15 minutes per game in each of the last 12 games. In 36 games this season, Drummond is averaging 6.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

For any contending teams looking to bolster their frontcourt depth ahead of a playoff run, Drummond could come at relatively cheap cost.
