Report: Browns have contingency plan at center in place

After the Cleveland Browns cut veteran center JC Tretter they signed veteran Ethan Pocic to backup former fifth-round pick Nick Harris. With Harris still recovering from his ACL surgery, rumors are surfacing that the team is preparing a backup plan if they can’t retain Ethan Pocic.

The obvious choice would be to go into the season planning to start Harris like they did last year but having just had knee surgery you don’t know what you are for sure getting out of him. There are a few options available in free agency and if Pocic walks I expect the team to look for a veteran minimum deal as they did with Pocic last season.
