Report: Bills add Matt Bazirgan to front office via Texans

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane has added a person to the team’s front office.

According to Pro Football Network, the Bills have hired Matt Bazirgan. He previously was the Houston Texans’ co-assistant director of player personnel:

The Bills did have an open space in their front office via Joe Schoen’s departure to the New York Giants earlier this offseason. However, Schoen’s title in Buffalo was assistant general manager and Bazirgan will be a senior personnel executive with the Bills.

Bazirgan had worked with the Texans since 2018 and prior to that with the New York Jets. Bazirgan worked with Brian Gaine while in Houston. Gaine is a senior personnel advisor with the Bills but was briefly the Texans’ general manager, leaving the Bills for Houston and later returning.
