Reincarnate will enter the Kentucky Derby off a third-place finish in the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby on April 1 at Oaklawn Park. He currently ranks 18th on the Kentucky Derby points leaderboard with 45.

Owners: SF Racing LLC (Gavin Murphy), Starlight Racing (Jack Wolf), Madaket Stables (Sol Kumin and Jason Monteleone), Robert Masterson, Stonestreet Stables (Barbara Banke), Jay Schoenfarber, Waves Edge Capital (Gregg Slager) and Catherine Donovan. Starlight and Madaket were co-owners of 2020 winner Authentic. Starlight and Kumin were co-owners of 2018 winner Justify. All but Stonestreet were co-owners of Messier, who finished 15th in 2022.

Reincarnate has two third-place finishes under Yakteen at Oaklawn — the Grade 2 Rebel on Feb. 25 and the Arkansas Derby. … Reincarnate opened his career with three straight runner-up finishes before finally breaking his maiden Nov. 25 at Del Mar. … Reincarnate is one of two sons of Good Magic expected to run in the Kentucky Derby, joining Mage.
