Regional Roundup: Maltarich wins high jump, plus all local state qualifiers

While most of the area's local track and field athletes participated in the Div. II Youngstown Regional and the Div. III Norwayne Regional, a handful were elsewhere over the past week.

West Holmes' Kyle Maltarich led that group in the Div. II New Concord Regional, winning the high jump with a leap of 6-foot-4.

Wooster's Michael Howman-Williams also had an impressive showing at the Div. I Youngstown Regional, finishing second in the discus with a toss of 158-4.

Here are the other top finishers from those meets, plus a list of all regional qualifiers:
