Redskins add veteran WR's Stallworth, Henderson

The Washington Redskins added a pair of veteran wide receivers today with the hope they can add some firepower to the offense.

Donte Stallworth and Devery Henderson were both signed by the Redskins, adding some deep threat ability for quarterback Robert Griffin III. Stallworth was previously with the Redskins in 2011 and has 321 receptions in 115 career games over 10 seasons. He was with the New England Patriots for one game last season.

Henderson, who began his career with the New Orleans Saints just like Stallworth, is still considered a vertical threat. He spent the first nine seasons of his career in New Orleans and played in 15 games last year but made only 22 catches for 316 yards and one touchdown.

We’ll see how they fit in during the summer.
