Recapping day one of the WT Freeze boys soccer tournament

The boys version of the WT Freeze Tournament is underway. Let's take a look at how the first day went down.

GAME ONE: Frenship v Dumas

Frenship wins 10-1

The Demons' lone goal was scored by Ish Marchan.

GAME TWO: Palo Duro v Perryton

PD wins 5-0

Jaime Martinez led the way with a hat trick, while Ever Gutierrez and Gael Garay each had goals. Martinez also had a pair of assists as did Garay and Gutierrez. Ram Htoo added an assist as well.

GAME THREE: Caprock v Canyon

Caprock wins 7-0

Aldo Carrasco had four goals, Luis Castellon had two and Leo De Leon had the seventh. Fernando Lira had a par of assists, Alfredo Haro and Daniel Ramirez each had two assists as well and Castellon chipped in an assist too.

GAME FOUR: Amarillo High v Dumas

AHS wins 1-0

Israel Carillo had the lone goal of the game.

GAME FIVE: Frenship v Perryton

Frenship wins 3-0

Young Rangers team looking to grow.

GAME SIX: Caprock v West Plains

Caprock wins 4-0

Daniel Ramirez had a pair of goals and an assists, Carrasco and Castellon each scored and Jared Alamo had an assist.

GAME SEVEN: Pampa v Hereford

Pampa wins 4-0

Alex Rios had a pair of goals, Diego Jerez had another and the fourth was an own goal.

GAME EIGHT: Palo Duro v Canutillo

PD wins 3-0

Jaime Martinez had a brace with Htoo adding a goal. Garay and Merci Murama each had assists. Erick Salazar had a pair of shutouts in net on the day.
