The Cincinnati Bengals were expected to address their secondary during the 2023 NFL draft, and they added a speedy cornerback and safety Dax Hill's former Michigan teammate with their second-round pick Friday night in DJ Turner II.

Turner ran a 4.26 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, the fourth-fastest since 2003 and .12 faster than Hill and fellow Bengal Cam Taylor-Britt ran one year earlier.

Hill and Turner were Wolverine teammates from 2019 to 2021.

"This is going to be the secondary we had back at Michigan. I already talked to (Dax). We can't wait," Turner said, per The Enquirer's Charlie Goldsmith.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Turner was a two-time all-Big Ten selection.
