RCTC begins softball season with split
Feb. 23—ROCHESTER — Abby Zahn went 4-for-4 with four RBIs but Rochester Community and Technical College softball team still fell 10-9 to Ellsworth Community College on Friday.
Zahn had a home run and a double. Also hitting homers for the Yellowjackets were Bailey Monson and Michaela Kern.
RCTC also won in a romp Friday, blasting Minnesota North College-Vermillion 24-0. Aubrey Grover went 3-for-3 with four RBIs. She homered and tripled.
Abby Zahn also homered and Keyanna Lofton went 2-for-4 with four RBIs.
Skylar Beckel was the winning pitcher.
