Ravens Take Down Saints, 34-27
Justin Forsett had a big night running the football, leading the way to a win for the Ravens against the Saints, 34-27, in New Orleans.
Joe Flacco finished with 243 yards on 18 for 24 passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. On the Saints side, Drew Brees went 35 for 45 with 420 yards passing, three touchdowns and one pick.
Forsett was a key factor for the Ravens, running all over the Saints for 182 yards on 22 carries with two touchdowns. Steve Smith Sr was a top receiver, catching four passes for 89 yards with a touchdown.
The Baltimore defense had a solid game, highlighted by allowing 126 yards rushing and 420 passing while taking back one interception for a touchdown. They consistently put pressure on Brees and the Saints offensive line, racking up four sacks.
Saints tight end Jimmy Graham gave a standout effort with 47 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Joe Morgan also gave a strong effort with 67 rushing yards and 62 receiving.
Next week, the Ravens are at home against the Chargers (7-4) while the Saints travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers (7-4).
