Ranking the top 10 30-point performances by OKC's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander this season

No player in OKC Thunder history has had more 30-point games in a single season than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

The sixth-year pro set the franchise record by scoring 30 points during a 121-111 home loss to the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday. It marked his 48th game with at least 30 points this season, surpassing Kevin Durant's mark of 47 games in both the 2009-10 and 2013-14 campaigns.

10. Gilgeous-Alexander's one-man comeback falls short against Atlanta (Jan. 3)

Stat line: 33 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists

OKC suffered a 141-138 road loss to Atlanta despite a frenzied comeback attempt by Gilgeous-Alexander.

Trailing 141-129 with 1:37 left in the game, the star guard scored nine points the rest of the way. It was a dominant scoring spree by Gilgeous-Alexander, but this performance lands at No. 10 because the comeback fell short.

9. Gilgeous-Alexander leads OKC to an overtime win against Golden State (Dec. 8)

Stat line: 38 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals

OKC earned a 138-136 overtime win over Golden State thanks in large part to Gilgeous-Alexander.

He scored five points in the extra period, including back-to-back mid-range jumpers, to help the Thunder come out on top.

8. Gilgeous-Alexanders ties a season-high 43 points in loss to Sacramento (Dec. 14)

State line: 43 points, nine assists and six rebounds

Gilgeous-Alexander showed out in OKC's 128-123 road loss to Sacramento.

He tied a season-high 43 points thanks in part to a 16-for-18 showing from the free throw line and finished one assist shy of a double double. Gilgeous-Alexander's performance might get lost in the shuffle because it came in a loss, but it's still worth a spot on this list.

7. Gilgeous-Alexander ties a season-high 43 points in a win over Cleveland (Nov. 8)

Stat line: 43 points, seven rebounds and six assists

This time, Gilgeous-Alexander's season-high 43 points led to OKC's 128-120 home win over Cleveland.

Gilgeous-Alexander got his buckets efficiently. He shot 15 for 22 from the floor (68.2%), 1 for 2 from deep (50%) and 12 for 13 from the free throw line (92.3%).

6. Gilgeous-Alexander erupts after the second half, leads OKC to overtime win against Golden State (Nov. 18)

State line: 40 points, seven rebounds and six assists

OKC earned a thrilling 130-123 road win over Golden State in overtime, and Gilgeous-Alexander caught fire.

After scoring just eight points in the first half, he scored 32 points the rest of the way. It was a dominant display by Gilgeous-Alexander, who played a game-high 41 minutes.

5. Gilgeous-Alexander helps OKC pull off late comeback against Cleveland (Oct. 27)

State line: 34 points, 11 rebounds, five steals and four rebounds

It took a miraculous comeback for OKC to earn a 108-105 road win over Cleveland.

The Thunder trailed 102-93 with 1:56 left in the game, but Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge. He scored five points the rest of the way to help OKC escape with a win.

4. Gilgeous-Alexander takes over in the fourth quarter, leads OKC past Minnesota (Jan. 20)

Stat line: 33 points, six assists and two rebounds

OKC earned a 102-97 road win over Minnesota in a battle between the top two teams in the Western Conference standings.

The Thunder trailed by nine points entering the fourth quarter, but Gilgeous-Alexander scored 11 points in the final frame to lead his team to a statement victory.

3. Gilgeous-Alexander helps OKC defeat Boston, the top team in the league (Jan. 2)

Stat line: 36 points, seven assists and six rebounds

OKC made another statement when it earned a 127-123 home win over the top team in the league, the Boston Celtics.

Gilgeous-Alexander rose to the occasion. He scored 36 points, including a pair of clutch free throws with 2.1 seconds remaining to secure the win.

2. Gilgeous-Alexander dominates the third quarter of OKC's win over Denver (Dec. 29)

Stat line: 40 points, four rebounds and three assists

One of OKC's most impressive wins this season is its 119-93 road win over the defending-champion Denver Nuggets.

Gilgeous-Alexander helped blow the game wide open by scoring 17 points in the third quarter. He was the best player on a floor that also featured two-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

1. Gilgeous-Alexander posts a 40-point double double in a win over Chicago (Nov. 22)

Stat line: 40 points, 12 assists, five rebounds and three blocks

OKC's 116-102 home win over the struggling Chicago Bulls wasn't super impressive, but Gilgeous-Alexander was.

He scored 40 points despite being guarded at times by Alex Caruso, who made the All-Defensive first team last season. Gilgeous-Alexander also racked up 12 assists, giving him his only 40-point double double of the season and the second of his career.
