Raiders WR Davante Adams charged with misdemeanor assault for shoving photographer
The saga continues for Davante Adams with regard to the shoving incident that occurred following Monday Night’s game in Kansas City. Reports on Tuesday had the photographer who was shoved to the ground filing a police report. Wednesday Adams was officially charged with assault.

The incident took place as Adams was leaving the field. Adams was clearly very upset about the final two plays in the game that were both passes to him and both ruled incomplete, thus ending the game with the Raiders losing to the Chiefs 30-29.
Adams was walking off the field when a photographer absentmindedly rushed in front of him and the reaction from Adams was to shove the photographer, causing him to fall to the ground. Adams then paused for a moment before continuing to walk to the locker room.

He apologized shortly thereafter via a statement to the media.
Along with the criminal charges, Adams will also face league penalties including potential fines and possible suspension. The Raiders have a bye next week.
