Raiders blow 17-0 lead, fall to Jaguars

You don’t have to go to a casino to be a Las Vegas loser.

The Raiders were up, way up early, 17-0, over the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday in the Sunshine State.

And as many players in Sin City know, it isn’t how you start, it is how you finish and the Raiders faltered, losing the Jaguars, 27-20.

Las Vegas is 2-6 over and 0-5 away from home in Josh McDaniels’ first season as head coach. This is the same McDaniels who was 11-17in his first go as a head coach in Denver years ago.

Derek Carr found Davante Adams for a pair of touchdown passes in the first 20 minutes of the game.

The only other points Las Vegas managed was a field goal in the final minute of the first half by Daniel Carlson.

Jacksonville, which snapped a five-game losing streak, scored the final 17 points of the game.

Travis Etienne had 2 rushing touchdowns and 109 yards on the ground.

He became the first Jaguar to have 100 yards and score a TD in three consecutive games since Fred Taylor.
