Race weekend: Driver appearances, live music, kids' events set for Pocono Raceway

Pocono Raceway will offer four races the weekend of July 21-23, but that’s hardly all there is to do.

Catch driver appearances, live music, events for kids and more.

Pocono 400 driver appearances

Drivers will make appearances for Q&As, autographs and other activities throughout the weekend. Note that some events require tickets or wristbands and/or are only open to camping guests.

NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series autograph session: 11:45 a.m. Friday, Pocono Mountains Activities and Welcome Center. This is for camping guests only and wristbands are required. Wristbands will be distributed at 9 a.m. in front of the Pocono Mountains Activities and Welcome Center.

ARCA Menards Series autograph session: 3 p.m. Friday, Fan Fair Stage. Wristbands are required and will be distributed at 2 p.m. in front of the stage.

Recess with Justin Allgaier: 5 p.m. Friday, Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital Inclusive Playground (infield). This is for camping guests only. Free Rita’s will be available for the first 300 kids.

Noah Gragson Q&A: 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Fan Fair Stage. Gragson will appear for a moderated Q&A session open to all Sunday ticket holders.

Kyle Larson Q&A: 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Fan Fair Stage. Larson will appear for a moderated Q&A session open to all Sunday ticket holders.

Aric Almirola Q&A: noon Sunday, Fan Fair Stage. Almirola will appear for a moderated Q&A session open to all Sunday ticket holders.

Alex Bowman appearance: 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Infield Bark Park. This is for camping guests only and wristbands are required. Wristbands are required and will be distributed at 9 a.m. in front of the dog park. Guests can bring their dogs.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. & Ryan Blaney “Crown Jewel Winners” Q&A: 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, Chalet Village. Stenhouse, the 2023 Daytona 500 winner, and Blaney, the 2023 Coca-Cola 600 winner, will appear for a moderated Q&A session. This requires a ticket.

Kyle Busch Q&A: 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Victory Lane. Busch will appear for a moderated Q&A session. This requires a Paddock Pass+.

William Byron autograph session: 12:10 p.m. Sunday, Paddock. Both a wristband (distribution details to come) and Paddock Pass+ are required.

Kevin Harvick Q&A: Time TBA, Sunday, Chalet Village. Harvick, who is retiring at the end of the season, will appear for a moderated Q&A session. This requires a ticket.

Live music

All ticket holders can catch these acts at the Fan Fair Stage.

Burn The Jukebox: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Rhode Island Sound from the Navy Band Northeast: 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentleman: 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Events for kids

Kids Day: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Chalet Village. “In an effort to engage the youngsters and provide a family-friendly and fun day, Pocono Raceway hosts an Annual Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital Kids Day,” Pocono Raceway says. “We host a number of free activities including face painting, exhibits, photo booths, educational/community activities and more.”

Kids Zone: 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Fan Fair. Kid-friendly activities will be provided throughout the weekend in the Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital Kids Zone.

There’s also a free carnival daily Friday through Sunday. Kids can play at Tricky’s Kit Kamp (inside Gate 8) and camping guests have access to the Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital Inclusive Playground.
