Purdue basketball among field with BYU, Notre Dame, Arkansas at 2024 Thanksgiving tourney

Just days before Purdue's men's basketball team begins the season, the Boilermakers are getting next year's schedule in line.

Purdue will be one of four teams competing in the Rady Children's Invitational in San Diego on Nov. 28 and 29, 2024.

Joining Purdue among the field are BYU, Notre Dame and Arkansas, which this year's Boilermaker team will play in a charity exhibition on Saturday.

The Rady Children's Invitational will be on Thanksgiving with a championship and consolation game played the following day.

"We are fired up to have these premier college basketball programs and institutions with amazing traditions and fan bases set to play in San Diego next year," CEO of Sports San Diego Mark Neville said in a release. "Together with Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, FOX Sports, UC San Diego Athletics, and Global Sports & Events, we endeavor to produce one of the best early season college basketball tournaments in the country. Part of that means securing top basketball programs year after year. We are extremely proud of this 2024 field."
